The Cardinals and the Seahawks are both at a crossroads, having lost their previous two games. They’ll need to win this week if they want to remain in contention for the postseason. Who will win?
The “seahawks vs cardinals 2021” is a game that will be played on October 6th, 2021. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back from an ugly loss against the Seahawks in week 3 of the season.

In Week 10, both clubs were humiliated: the Cardinals were outmanned 34-10 by the Carolina Panthers, while the Seahawks were shut out 17-0 by the Green Bay Packers in Russell Wilson’s return to the lineup.
When the clubs meet in Seattle on Sunday, November 21, it’s unknown if Arizona (8-2) offensive talents Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins will be in uniform. Due to injury, he did not participate in either the defeat to the Panthers or the victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9.
Murray (ankle) and Hopkins (hamstring) are both listed as “day-to-day” by Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury, and their availability against the Seahawks will likely be determined at game time.
The extensive injury report for Arizona’s game against Carolina is a significant reason why players and coaches aren’t panicking after their worst defeat of the season. The Cardinals were also missing running back Chase Edmonds (who was put on injured reserve after sustaining a high ankle sprain against the 49ers), offensive linemen Justin Pugh (calf), and offensive lineman Max Garcia (ankle) (Achilles).
“Our men are aware of where we are and what we are attempting to achieve. On Monday, November 15, Kingsbury spoke with Arizona Sports’ “Wolf & Luke” about who is playing and who isn’t. “We just have to make sure we bring the same energy, attention, and enthusiasm to the field week in and week out, and none of us felt like we did (against Carolina).”
Following the Panthers’ defeat, defensive lineman Zach Allen claimed the locker room was buzzing with excitement to go back to work.
After the game, Allen told reporters, “I believe that’s the attitude right now.” “There isn’t much ‘woe is me.’” ‘Let’s just go back to work,’ said a lot of people.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are running out of time to make a playoff push. According to FiveThirtyEight, Seattle has a 17 percent chance of making the playoffs after losing on the road to the Packers.
With a victory in Seattle, Arizona’s chances of making the playoffs would be cut to only 7%, putting the Seahawks’ postseason aspirations on life support. A Seattle win, on the other hand, raises the odds to 29%.
“We know what that atmosphere is like up there,” Kingsbury said. “They’re going to rock.” They need this victory, and we require this victory. Both teams are coming off painful defeats that I’m sure they didn’t like.”
Here’s a look at what went wrong for both teams in Week 10 as the Cardinals and Seahawks prepare to meet for the first time this season:
The Panthers defeated the Cardinals by a score of 34-10.
With two turnovers and a failed fourth-down conversion on their first three drives, the Cardinals virtually stretched out the red carpet for Cam Netwon’s season debut, providing the Panthers short fields and early momentum.
The Panthers (5-5) scored 17 points on those chances, including two touchdowns from Newton, the 2015 NFL MVP who re-signed with the organization only three days before the game.
Newton, 32, went unsigned after the New England Patriots dismissed him on August 31. After starting quarterback Sam Darnold was put on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, he was given a second chance in Carolina.
Newton only played nine plays against the Cardinals, but he scored on his first two snaps, a 2-yard run and a 2-yard pass to Robby Anderson. The Panthers jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter, and by halftime, they were up 23-0.
Kingsbury expressed concern about the Cardinals’ slow start.
He stated, “That was unusual of what we’ve done so far this season.” “I felt like Carolina came in and out-coached us by playing harder, quicker, and with more energy… We didn’t react as we have in the past. All we have to do now is learn from it and improve this week.”
Colt McCoy, the Cardinals’ second-year quarterback, struggled in his second start, completing 11 of 20 passes for 107 yards, a lost fumble, and an interception before exiting in the third quarter with a pectoral injury. His condition is also on a day-to-day basis, according to Kingsbury.
The Cardinals would want Murray back against the Seahawks, but they don’t want to hurry his rehabilitation, according to Kingsbury. The Cardinals have a bye in Week 12 after the game in Seattle before hosting the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on December 5.
“We have a bye coming up,” Kingsbury said, “and hopefully that will allow him more time to heal and be ready for the home stretch.” “He’ll play Sunday (in Seattle) if he can, but we want to be cautious with him.”

Green Bay Packers 17, Seattle Seahawks 0
Wilson was back in action for the Seahawks against the Packers, but things didn’t go smoothly for him at Lambeau Field.
Wilson struggled in his comeback after missing three games due to a finger injury, throwing two end zone interceptions as Seattle was shut out for the first time in his career. He completed 20 of 40 passes for 161 yards on the day.
Wilson and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll didn’t blame the defeat on Wilson’s injury or his three-game absence.
Wilson said, “I felt confidence in my hand.” “With all of the hard effort, I felt confident.” In those two plays, it was simply a horrible game. Those were indeed the game’s defining moments. That’s typically the case when you’re playing excellent football teams. Either they go in your direction or they don’t.”
Carroll said, “He was ready to play.” “And there’s no other information that may lead us to believe otherwise.”
There were other issues as well. After an argument with Packers players in the fourth quarter, Seattle receiver DK Metcalf was dismissed. Metcalf subsequently explained the altercation by saying he was “weary of losing.”
Wilson is optimistic in the Seahawks’ ability to turn things around, despite the team’s troubles this season.
“I have complete faith in our team and what we can do, as well as what I can accomplish and what we’re going to accomplish,” he added.
