The Lakers have been struggling lately and Anthony Davis is not happy with the team. The two-time All-Star and former MVP spoke to ESPN’s Chris Haynes about his frustration after a loss to Denver last week. “It sucked, it really did, for us as players especially because we all put our hearts out there every day in practice, basketball games … We feel like we can be better than that right now as individuals across the board. So yeah, I don’t know what else too say other than it sucks.”

Anthony Davis sounds off on Lakers after the team “sucked” in his opinion. The New Orleans Pelicans forward has been a staple of the NBA for years and is known for not speaking much to the media. Read more in detail here: nba news.

Getty The Lakers, according to Anthony Davis, have a lot of work to do.

After the Los Angeles Lakers’ “embarrassing” 24-point defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Davis did not hold back. Davis said that the Lakers “sucked” against the Timberwolves, which is the most open admission the big man has made thus far this season.

In his postgame news conference, Davis declared flatly, “We stink, no defense, can’t score.” “It’s not just this third quarter; it’s every third quarter we’ve played so far this season.” We start slowly and sloppily, both offensively and defensively. Why do we need to get our act together? I’m not sure what I can say, but we need to do a better job. In the third quarter, we scored 12 points while they scored 40. That’s the whole point of the game. We’ve got to be better at coming out in the third quarter.”

‘We’re Not Winning a Championship the Way We’re Playing,’ A.D. says of the Lakers.

Davis scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Lakers in scoring. To begin the season, the Lakers’ big man has battled illness and injury. Although viral recordings of Davis puking during games have emerged, the big man has refused to blame any one player. After 13 games, Davis was still forthright in his assessment of the Lakers, noting that they are not a championship club.

“We have to determine whether we want to be a championship team or not.” “Right now, it’s not us,” Davis continued. “The way we’re playing, we’re not going to win a championship.” We had to improve, and we had to care more about our victories at home, and victories in general. Being five points up at halftime was humiliating. Obviously, this club hits a lot of threes, but they also have players who can score the ball, but in the third quarter, there was no effort.

“I’m not going to say anything about the first half.” I thought we looked extremely excellent in the first half. We made some blunders, but we put in a good effort. We simply didn’t have enough energy in the third quarter.”

In the third quarter, the Timberwolves outscored the Lakers 40-12.

The third quarter proved to be the turning moment for the Lakers, resulting in the blowout defeat, as Davis pointed out. In the third quarter, the Timberwolves outscored the Lakers 40-12. Russell Westbrook had no explanation for the dismal quarter when questioned about it, other than to remark the team did not “come out ready” and lacked “preparation.”

“Just not coming out ready,” Westbrook said in his postgame news conference. “We didn’t do a good job of being prepared, particularly in the third quarter.” “Not much to say, but obviously we [didn’t] make any shots, but you know.”

If Lakers fans are seeking for signs of life, it looks that aid is on the way. LeBron James is day-to-day with his latest injury, according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, who made the announcement before to tipoff. James’ next game will be against the Spurs on November 14 or against the Bulls on November 15, both at the Staples Center.
